Yasmin Hassan - Paralegal

Yasmin joined Edmonds Marshall McMahon in November 2019, after graduating from Lancaster University earlier that year with a first class honours in Law.

During her time at University, Yasmin acted as General Secretary of the University Law Society. Within this role, she handled student memberships and undertook all administrative duties, including managing the Law Society Facebook page. The Society was awarded “Best Social Media” at the LawCareers.Net Awards in 2019.

Yasmin also enjoys volunteering. Her recent experience includes assisting the International Law Book Facility and participating in an Immigration and Asylum Law Clinic during her final year of University. Within the clinic she gave free legal advice to vulnerable individuals, often alongside an interpreter, working in conjunction with local voluntary organisation RAIS. She continues to volunteer with the International Law Book Facility, conducting research.

At Edmonds Marshall McMahon, Yasmin undertakes work on both civil and criminal matters, from the initial point of contact with the client until trial. She is an enthusiastic and friendly member of the team, who is always ready to assist others.
