A private prosecution was brought on behalf of TM EYE against the defendant Mr Usman Khan for offences under section 92 Trade Marks Act 1994. Mr Khan had infringed on the intellectual property rights of Louis Vuitton in his counterfeit goods trading and after pleading guilty to 3 charges was sentenced to a community order with 40 hours unpaid work to be completed within a year.
