On Monday 18th May we will be taking part in a sponsored 10k walk in support of the London Legal Support Trust. It’s a great independent charity that raises funds for free legal services in London and the South East.
By receiving funding and support, law centres and pro bono advice agencies are able to ensure that vulnerable people have a way of accessing justice and legal advice that can make a huge difference to people’s lives. The London Legal Support Trust does a lot to help reduce debt, poverty and homelessness and also to combat discrimination and injustice.
This year will be the 11th annual walk, and the largest annual gathering of lawyers and the judiciary in the world. Over 8,000 people took part in last year’s walk and it is a great sign of commitment to access to justice.
Walking for Edmonds Marshall McMahon this year will be: Tamlyn Edmonds, Kate McMahon, Andrew Marshall, Claire Robertson, David Jugnarain, Ursula Marshall, Ben Ticehurst, Adrian Sandberg, Sophie Phillips, Mohona Biswas and Lauren Priest.
Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity’s behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
